Pit stop to Cambridge

I'm not ready for crab season.Potentially it's because the weather isn't warm enough to enjoy a brew on a patio while cracking Maryland's prized food. At Harris Crab House, you can enjoy endless crabs along with side dishes.Justin and I stopped here on our way to Cambridge and enjoyed plenty of food to keep us full for the rest of the day. We split a delicious cream of crab soup where chunks of crab meat awaited to be eaten. To start off, we enjoyed fried calamari, which tasted slightly dry and not particularly something I would order a second time. The side of garlic aoli added to a blandness of flavor that could have been met with a marinara or tartar sauce.Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-Out Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-Out Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-OutI munched on buffalo waffle fries while Justin enjoyed a crab cake sandwich. While the seafood tasted delicious, its components felt plain and unseasoned. The french fries can benefit from a bit of sea salt or old bay and perhaps the restaurant wanted to leave it up to you to decide, but that was not expressed. Our server was great and attentive to our needs despite the entire room filled with small and large parties. Crabs, sharks, ship components and picturesque bay views fill the interior. My only issue might have been watching an elderly man climb the stairs despite a large family's request to avoid them. He managed his way up, but the lack of attention and helpfulness certainly doesn't make this somewhere I might return unless they change that policy.Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-Out Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-Out Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-Out Harris-Crab-House-Just-Souled-Out Harris Crab House & Seafood Restaurant is located at 433 Kent Narrow Way N in Grasonville, Maryland.
