The pier at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is my favorite spot at the hotel. A long, narrow path leads to a small cabana that offers endless views of the water.I found this dress when my friend Vivian, my mom, Jenna and I went on a spring shopping adventure. I saw the yellow version of this dress on a mannequin and didn't think much of it until Vivian tried it on and suddenly I fell in love. She bought the colored version and now we plan to match later in the summer.The funny thing about this dress is we bought it from AQUA at Bloomingdales. Yet extremely similar styles can be found at INTERMIX, Net-a-Porter and Neiman Marcus for almost $400 more than what I paid for it. I guess if I really wanted the high-end appeal, I would hem the bottom at a local store and the price still won't come close to its retail twin.
