Air Max 90
One of Nike’s best sellers, the Air Max 90 continues to hold a timeless aesthetic with its innovative technology. Tinker Hatfield, one of the most famed Nike designers to date, brought this sneaker concept to life as it gained popularity for its famed air unit. Although Nike released this sneaker in 1990, the original Air Max 90 went unseen for almost 12 years. In 2002, the swoosh company released the “Mx Orange” colorway in Australia, which kicked off the first few sales for this model. The following year, Europe and Asia released the “Infrared” version that consisted of similar hues as the original Air Max 90 that debuted a near decade before. The 2003 sneaker utilized the OG large heel air unit that brought unmatched comfort to the brand.
As we kick off summer, I couldn’t stop myself from looking at the newest colorways on Nike.com. I felt inspired enough to illustrate this signature sneaker in a few different colorways. Be sure to go to Nike.com if you want to add these to your footwear collection.
