After years of eating frozen yogurt, I finally began to crave ice cream again. When I saw this delight on DCFoodPorn's Instagram, I instantly marked Thomas Sweet on my must-try list.With sunny skies and an uneventful weekend, Justin and I stopped by the dessert shop for a chocolate covered waffle cone stuffed with cookies and cream and salted caramel ice creams. We topped it off with cookie dough, which a server reached into an entirely different refrigerator that probably holds tubs of my favorite raw dish. It's the highlight to this frozen gem and a must-try addition.The best part about this shop is its location. Tourists will miss the storefront since it lurks a bit around the corner of Wisconsin and P St. Inside you can find a diverse crowd ranging from families to high schoolers on dates.Thomas Sweet is located on 3214 P St NW.
