Big Apple Views from Herald Square

People always ask if I ever miss the city. I explain that Manhattan is just a short drive away! Not only did I discover you can get a discount in entering the city through carpooling in the Lincoln Tunnel this past weekend (thanks Suji!), I also fell in love with the Hyatt Herald Square New York.I stayed in a deluxe king bed room, which included a sofa and small desk ideal for a millennial like myself.Like all city hotels, rooms come slightly smaller than your average sized accommodations in non-city areas. Yet I found the Hyatt utilized the space with hidden dressers and stacked drawers.I still prefer Hilton beds because they felt more stiff than the Hyatt's. Either way, I slept well with Gloomy.I came into the city around 11 p.m. and after a hour of settling in, I ordered pizza from Motorino Pizza. It came smaller than expected, but it was the perfect size for a late night snack since I woke up without a bloated feeling. Below is the Soppressata Piccante that came with a light charred crust, pepperonis and enough mozzarella cheese to satisfy my late-night cravings.I can't wait to share more of my stay in the city from this past weekend! Hyatt Herald Square New York is located on 30 W 31st St. Motorino Pizza offers three locations in the greater New York area.
