A view of Atlantic City
I spent a couple nights in Atlantic City, New Jersey with my mom and a family friend. Together, we won (and lost) money thanks to penny slots, ate pho, tried Bobby Flay’s steakhouse and relaxed at the Immersion Spa all while enjoying Borgata‘s finest amenities. The highlight of the trip: my spa experience. Not only did I cleanse my pores with a rejuvenating facial, but I swam laps in a pool and lounged in the hot tub. While soaking up steam, I fell in love with the skyline view of the city. It’s outstanding with natural pools, skyscrapers and long highways to marvel at for hours. Before walking into the elevated and soaring stories high, these sculpted jackets line the walls in front of the elevators. Although made with plastic, the artwork looks lifelike and fooled my eyes.Chandeliers composed of twisted, color glass hang from several ceilings surrounding the casino floor. It becomes a strong centerpiece for a marbled area. These small pieces actually define the Borgata a part from its area competitors because they add elegance to the gaming home.I admit that I felt lost at times because the gaming area is huge. More than 3,000 slots grace the floor alongside 180 table games that never seem to end. After walking in circles for 15 minutes, I found myself outside of Bobby Flay Steakamazed by the restaurant’s architecture. I’ll share more about my experience in my next post!My mom and I had a Kylie Jenner moment as we flew down the escalator from the 32 floor of the spa. An incredible view blessed our suite and I woke up every morning to gaze at this spectacular view. Gloomy even found herself perched by the window. One thing is definite: Borgata beats all the competition in Atlantic City by a landslide.
