Flights at ENO Wine Bar

I graduated college in 2013, and continue to keep in touch on a weekly basis with a handful of friends. For a girls night out, Kristen (also known as Ms. Chelak of Noyes Education Campus), we decided to meet at ENO Wine Bar after a colleague raved about its coziness.The brick exterior hints at a contemporary, warm dining experience. Connected to the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, the Georgetown restaurant quickly fills with young professionals grabbing drinks before happy hour ends (Sunday through Thursday, 5-7 pm).Kristen and I sat downstairs where a few tables are set up, as well as large lounge chairs. When you look around, you're reminded of a coffee shop, but instead of Joe, there's wine.When you receive any wine flight, it comes with cards sharing more about tasting notes, where its from and the year it was made. You can pick and choose whatever you like, or try something new in a pre-made flight.We ordered the Charcuterie Platter and Swiss Cheese Fondue, which paired perfectly together. By the end of the meal, we both felt stuffed and ran to Georgetown Glow just a few blocks away.Five artists placed stunning installations in several historic spots. Although the pieces stood for a couple weeks, it might have proved that the District offers potential for future growth.
