Staying Locale

After traveling for the past couple weekends, I finally earned a couple of days to Christmas shop, collaborate with new friends, work on a Stereo Champions project and check out DC's newest co-working space, Locale.
Walk in and you will find a creative individual or two attempting to craft the finest work. Not only can you spot frequent champs writing editorial, illustrating graphics, laying out print and even sporadic photo shoots, the space exudes cool, calm and collected within one simple glance.Take a peek and you'll find crisp, white walls and a large stand holding coffee mugs, a Keurig, microwave, plates and golden utensils. To the left, an industrial metal desk with the perfect amount of wear-and-tear to make it hipster looking.A long, handcrafted table stands with industrial metal chairs filling the sides in a welcoming "get shit done" manner. A black leather couch fills the opposite end of the room on top of a thin bear skin rug. Placed neatly on the coffee tables, magazines from popular, and not-so-familiar brands cover the glass. Fresh cut logs fill a small section of the wall adding the perfect amount of contrast against a canvas-like backdrop.
My Cyber Monday deals are ever-so-slowly trickling in, along with several email notifications about delayed deliveries. I stole my boyfriend's hat from Anti Social Social Club, which flashes a small South Korean flag against a tan backdrop. A draped my Obey cardigan with hints of black and grey against my light brown River Island tank. One of the newest additions to my wardrobe, my Kendall and Kylie knee-paneled leggings, which are turning out great for both a casual-to-night wear. I dusted off my golf Steve Madden sneakers that I bought ages ago and finished off my outfit with a long gold necklace.
