Spring in Femme Luxe

Spring is finally here, but we’re stuck inside quarantining ourselves from COVID-19! I didn’t want to stray too far from my apartment; luckily there is a beautiful blossoming cherry tree in front of our building.

I collaborated with Femme Luxe, a United Kingdom based fashion company known for its trendy styles and affordable pricing. Sadly, customs halted my package a bit longer than expected, but it worked out favorably for me since the sun just came out this past week. I was able to select what pieces I wanted, which is the most ideal partnership because I’m the only one who truly knows what styles look great/bad on myself. I went a size up for all my pieces since traditionally UK brands seem to fit more petite than US-based fashion companies; however, I would stay true to size for the best fit.

I styled the Brown Black Long Sleeve Crop Jumper with gold satin joggers lined with red on the sides. This oversized fit made it perfect for this time of year when days are filled with sunlight and colder in shaded areas. The fabric was soft (I was worried it would be itchy, but it wasn’t one bit!) and I loved wearing my Calvin Klein cotton bra underneath because I could feel cozy, but a bit dressed up. I threw on my Nike Air Max 97s in Metallic Gold to keep similar tones.

The Black Ribbed Off the Shoulder Crop Top had two layered pieces in the front, which made squeezing into the top quick and simple. I’ve worn these Nike track pants throughout the winter, and when I saw this top, those pants was first to come to mind. I unbuttoned the bottom to flare out with a peek of the Air Jordan 4. There’s just enough to see the pink splattered paint and the gold detailing on the sneaker.
