New Balance x Paperboy x Greenhouse

My husband and I have dated since 2013 and he’s been unsuccessful in finding a way to intrigue my interest towards New Balance. Yet through the years, I’ve seen a handful of notable silhouettes and colorways but nothing that caused for pulling the trigger on anything other than my typical suspect brands.

The timing of an American underdog peaked my interest as the New Balance brand recently saw a number of collaborations including the above efforts with Paperboy Paris and Greenhouse. I can say without a doubt that my entire reasoning for purchasing this sneaker is because of one of the mastermind’s behind the collection, Victoria!

There’s truly no better influencer than some of your closest friends.

The intriguing pictures coupled with active influencer relations and media attention garnered my interest to take a glance at a brand I never wanted to support in the past. The collective team told a unique story by paying homage to a French cafe during New York Fashion Week. The unique colorways inspired by the shop’s menu made this brightly colored 801 silhouette stick out amongst the two other colorways.
