Justice for George Floyd

It’s incredibly insensitive to believe that racism doesn’t exist in the United States.

How many more black citizens need to die due to the inequality that plagues the nation?

It saddens me that we’re fighting a health and race pandemic at the same time; however, it’s not shocking. I’ve long advocated in supporting our African-American community because they’re the people who are paving paths for others, including my own Asian peers. They experience racism in its gritty, harshness and sometimes in unbearable terms; a feeling that many other cultures don’t deal with as often. While the violent protests across the country continue, I can only hope that this time the message is clear and it cannot be ignored any longer.

Black Lives Matter.

Justice for George Floyd.

Justice for all who have lost their lives.

Enough is enough.
