JSO, where are you?
It's been a minute.I'm sorry I've been away. Life is constantly flooded with changes and naturally I needed some time to realign my Just Souled Out brand against my unusually busy life. How busy am I?Currently I am working a full-time job that entails more than your typical 45+ hour work week. In addition to balancing my JSO content, I am also studying part time at University of Maryland's MBA program.Wild right? Here's some perspective: I wake up at 7 am (sometimes earlier). Get ready; go to work. I finish work typically between the hours of 5-7 pm, but it can also extend longer (and usually does at minimum one day a week). I endure traffic, which can range from 30-60 minutes. I get home, make myself dinner, then hop on my laptop to do something wedding related or study for my class. If you've ever planned your own wedding, then you understand how much time and effort goes into organizing an event for more than 250 attendees. If you're still single, then don't worry; you'll know one day. Before I know it, it's 10 pm and I crawl into bed and typically pass out around 11-11:45 pm. Repeat. For the reasons above, it's been difficult to not only publish posts, but also unfortunately hit pause on my content creation. There simply aren't enough hours in a day to work. study, create and publish.Excuses aside, I'm less than a month out from my wedding. Here's our engagement video below (excuse the awkward commentary at the end).I learned that you can't do everything. You can't balance all the things you want to do because there's only 24 hours in a day. And that's perfectly okay.I'm not posting this to state that I'm coming back, but to let you know that content will continue to be spotty until July.Cheers, fam. I'm getting married on July 1!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2ek3NknGtcFull disclosure: I was forced to not wear sneakers in the video.
