Tea time

I questioned why my Taiwanese friends loved bubble tea much more than I ever did. I remember drinking smoothies at the mall in middle school, but the phenomenon grew to bubble tea shops such as Kung Fu Tea.Yet when I tried this drink several times throughout my time in Taiwan, I discovered why people love it so much. The bubbles' consistency feels absolutely different from any tapioca I tried at home. The range of flavors with significant less sugar also make for a delicious afternoon snack or not-too-sweet dessert.My friends took me to LatTEA where I tried a green tea drink. The salty foamed paired with the sweet matcha flavor made this my favorite drink of all time.
