A cheesy Korean dinner
Korea will forever be a destination I am always willing to travel to. The city continues to change with new buildings, a growing population and forward-thinking technology. The first few days I spent time with family. Some whom I haven't seen for more than 10+ years, so you can imagine how happy I felt to reconnect. We ate at Oh-jju Hongdae 오쭈 홍대점 where I combined my love for cheese fondue with Korean food. The restaurant provided a small fondue set of white mozzarella cheese along with Korean grilled meats and squid. My uncle mixed up a concoction of rice topped with mayo and seaweed with a plastic glove, while my grandma and I munched on salad. The cheese provided relief from the extremely spicy tasting food similar to the way milk might soothe a burning mouth. Finally, you can never go wrong with a pitcher of makooli slush to cool off.Nomz.
