Off to Asia

Sadly, I meant to post this before my two week trip, but the last minute packing and an unforeseen blistering fever and terrible cough filled the bits of time I had before my departure. It's been more than a decade since I traveled to Asia. I planned on spending time with my beloved family and friends for more than two weeks. Before jetsetting overseas, I created a list of necessities for venturing to a foreign country. Here are my top tidbits: [gallery link="none" columns="2" type="rectangular" ids="4881,4880,4879,4878"]

  1. Medicine: No matter where you go, it's easy to pick up a bottle of Tylenol or DayQuil. However, I didn't want to risk an upset stomach or killer headache without my typical meds. After all, I personally believe these kind of products differ slightly from the ones I would usually pick up at CVS. I packed a few drugs ranging from Advil to Tums just in case anything happened!
  2. Camera: A handful of my YouTuber viewers and blog readers ask what camera I typically use (unless otherwise noted someone took photos) and it's this beautiful Canon G5X. The camera is portable and perfect for traveling since it's light and easy to use.
  3. Caps: I packed a total of two caps with the intent on buying a few more there. I anticipated Korea to be cooler than it actually was, but Taipei felt like summer. I thought the humidity and rain would be a good reason to pull out headwear. A special thank you to Sugarloaf Social Club for sending me this dri-fit hat!
  4. Hoodie: How could I travel without a hoodie?! I debated taking my black Anti Social Social Club hoodie, but opted for my baby pink one to keep my cozy on my 14+ hour flight.
  5. Adidas Ultra Boosts: I walked endlessly in both Korea and Taipei with my comfiest sneaker. The black tones and low cut silhouette made these sneakers versatile for almost all the outfits I packed.
