I lived in a Travco for a week

Here’s an experience that proved to be a bit out of my usual hotel comfort zone.

I recently started as an Account Coordinator at Brink, a creative digital agency. While I work out of the DC office, the company is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona and I was lucky enough to meet all the people I talked to across the internet the past several weeks.

I stayed in a working, but not running Travco next to my boss’s home. It’s great for me since I’m staying in it alone, although I can imagine it gets crowded with an entire family moving around the vehicle.

There’s electricity, a bathroom, bed, kitchen and more. It reminds me of a studio apartment in Manhattan (I’ve seen some about this size, maybe even smaller).

Employees previously drove the vehicle to SXSW (so bummed I couldn’t go this year!) and the automobile even saw light at Coachella one year. You can’t beat no hotel fees and the comfort of living in your own home. Plus, if I drove this thing out to a music festival, I would drive my glam status up by 10x in comparison to living in a tent for four, sweaty days.
