Lyrical Mountains

Anyone else itching to travel?

With the increasing numbers (again) with COVID-19, I have been dreaming about all the national parks I still haven’t visited yet. It seems like my travel bucket list grows every day I’m trapped indoors.

Inspired by my recent color theory Skillshare class, I played with different hues against various mountain landscapes. Each piece is titled by lyrics from a track on my summer playlist.

I also finished reading The Medium is the Massage by Marshall McLuhan and found myself dumbfounded by how timeless the novel is. McLuhan’s overarching theme is that we should focus on the communication medium, rather than the message within.

You'll be my valentine in the summer.

You'll be my valentine in the summer.

They were mourning our love.

They were mourning our love.

You were something different, I would go the distance.

You were something different, I would go the distance.
