Just Deliciosa

My monstera is thriving at home. I love the natural leaf-holes that form as the houseplants continues to mature. For this illustration, I took the monstera deliciosa leaves from my Matisse inspiration cut-outs to form the famed Nike swoosh. I’ve been wanting to build a sculpture made of fake or dried flowers and leaves. Naturally I haven’t found the time, but hopefully as I begin to hibernate for the winter I’ll complete this project.
